 Fall Home & Garden Show

• When: October 2, 3 and 4
• Where: Alameda County Fairgrounds, Pleasanton
• What: Come visit Zone 7's booth for information on home improvements that can save water and prevent stormwater pollution

Niles Canyon Stroll & Roll

• When: October 11, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Where: Highway 84 between Sunol and Fremont
• What: Zone 7 will have a booth on the Sunol side of this Alameda County-sponsored event along Highway 84, which will be closed to automobiles as participants learn about options for a Niles Canyon Trail for pedestrians and bicyclists.

Flood Preparedness Open House

• When: October 20, 4-6 p.m.
• Where: Zone 7 Water Agency headquarters, 100 North Canyons Parkway, Livermore
• What: Come learn about how to prepare for the upcoming rainy season
